Run All The Miles, Pet All The Dogs — Lucky Dog 5K is Coming to Franklin, WI on March 28, 2026!
If you love dogs, love your community, and love a good reason to lace up your sneakers on a Saturday morning, the Lucky Dog 5K in Franklin, Wisconsin is exactly where you need to be on March 28, 2026.
Hosted by Tiffany Drahonovsky of Lucky Dog Real Estate, powered by Coldwell Banker Realty, this dog-friendly 5K run and walk at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex at 6000 W Ryan Road in Franklin benefits Rescue Gang — a completely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving animals and placing them in loving foster homes across the Greater Milwaukee area.
What to Expect at the Lucky Dog 5K:
The course is a beautiful, flat, paved out-and-back route at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex — perfect for runners of all levels and walkers who just want to enjoy a gorgeous morning while doing something meaningful. The race is chip-timed by J3 Timing with live results posted online, and awards go to overall male and female finishers as well as top finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under all the way to 80 and over.
Every registered participant receives a short-sleeve t-shirt, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, live results, and finish line treats for both humans AND dogs. And yes — your dog is not just welcome, they get their very own dog medal too. Because every dog deserves to feel like a winner.
